Ever heard of the term “bibliotherapy”? Oxford Languages defines it as:
bibliotherapy: (noun) the use of books as therapy in the treatment of mental conditions.
I think of books as medicine for the mind. Antidepressants and antipsychotics can only go so far. Books, on the other hand, can introduce new ideas, new ways of thinking, and comfort.
When I’m feeling down on myself, I read:

When I want light reading, a warm tale to get lost in:
When I want to escape reality for another time:
Those are just a few of some of my favorite books!
